Good selection of reasonably priced beer for a smaller shop. The staff is always friendly, which, I know from experience can be hard to maintain in the inexpensive takeout alcohol environment. They also have a pretty decent selection of cigars stored in a humidor case. For food, however, run across the street to Ruminski's. Same ownership, so I'm sure they won't mind me saying that, but Beer Stop does have a modest selection of good drinking snacks. Deitz and Watson landjaeger sticks are about a buck, which is a win any day.
I always go here for beer and cigarettes, it's just around the corner from my daughters house. So it's perfect for grabbing a 6-12 pack and a pack of smokes. Always well stocked with various adult beverages beer, wine, and coolers. The cashiers are always friendly and courteous. The prices are pretty decent as well.
